At the end of July, I got to spend a Saturday surrounded by crafty and creative people at The Island Mavins Handmade and Vintage Market. There were over 40 vendors this year, and the final tally showed that over 2000 people visited the market over the weekend - what an incredible turnout! This was my second time photographing Island Mavins, and I had just as much fun documenting the first day of event this year as I did last year - I can't wait for next year's market! Here are a few of my favourite photos from Saturday.
A couple weekends ago, I had the pleasure of spending a few hours in French Vanilla Home and Garden, photographing some of their gorgeous merchandise. Sheila didn't have any specific items she wanted me to photograph, so I got to look through the store and choose some of my favourites (while making a mental wish list). I love the soft colours and different textures that tie all her products together. It's easy to picture where I'd place them in my home, which made it hard not to leave with a bag full of new purchases at the end of the shoot! These are only a few of my favourite treasures from French Vanilla.
